“The LORD hath appeared unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.”
God’s love is beyond measure. There is no end to it. He has an everlasting love for his children! Through this love we can see his goodness, his grace, his kindness, and that he’s just. Because of his love, he’s made a way for us to have a relationship with Him. To be reunited. He didn’t have to, but because He loves us and wants to have a relationship with us, He made a way of reconciliation through His Son!
Because of His love, we are drawn to Him. We are able to draw near to Him and know that even though we don’t deserve his love and mercy, He’s chosen to extend his love towards us. Because He wants to have a relationship with us. We don’t have to work for His love or to perfection. We are made perfect in Him. While we still face battles of our flesh, we were bought and made new.
We don’t fully understand His love for us, but we can know that it is a love that is like an overflowing well! He loves us, He draws us to Him so that we might grow to be the child and servant He’s called us to be!
