”Arise; for this matter belongeth unto thee: we also will be with thee: be of good courage, and do it.”

Sometimes, we make choices—decisions we wish we could undo, or we find ourselves caught in circumstances that feel beyond repair. But in the midst of brokenness, God is the God of restoration.

The verse begins with the word, “Arise.” This wasn’t a casual suggestion but a command. In the midst of their brokenness, God calls His people to rise up—not to stay defeated, not to stay stuck in regret, but to move forward with courage and action.

Maybe you’ve been feeling like you’ve made too many mistakes to move forward. Perhaps you’re carrying the weight of regret and wondering if God can still use you. Let this verse remind you: God is calling you to arise, to stand up in His grace and trust that He can restore and redeem what’s been broken!

You might not feel “ready” or “able” to face what’s ahead, but God will equip you. Courage isn’t the absence of fear—it’s trusting God in spite of it!
