“Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.”
God’s love is greater than any other love known to mankind! It fills us and satisfies our needs. For that we can give him praise and worship because of how great his love is for us! When we understand the depth of God’s love for us, it naturally stirs us to worship Him with our words, our actions, and our hearts. His love is more satisfying than life itself! Being content with his love means that we don’t desire anything more. Everything in this world is temporary, but God’s love is forever! It will never end. And nothing will ever change his love toward us! His love is unparalleled!
The term ‘lovingkindness’ in the Bible often refers to God’s unfailing, covenantal love. His steadfast, faithful love that is loyal and unchanging. It’s more than just affection; it’s a deep, abiding commitment to His people, no matter their circumstances. God’s lovingkindness truly is better than life, let this truth shape how we live each day.
